Enabling Youth and Children's Ministry

Developing Youth and Children's Ministry is at the heart of the church community and is a way to grow future generations of church members. The work will consider how best to connect the church and its message with young people and families.

There are several activities already aimed at younger people but work needs to be done to grow these and other ministries.

VISION:

"Our young people's groups are thriving age related learning communities... we are especially responsive to the needs of whole families... the hallmark of our identity is a spiritually vibrant, worshipping community of all ages."

ACTION:

An after school fun group was held in the weeks leading up to Easter and in association with the local school, children and staff were invited into church to see diplays and hear members of the congregation talking about the real meaning of Easter.

Our regular annual Holiday club also ran during the school's half term break.
